In line with the Callowie stud name, stud principal Richard Halliday has simplified the stud’s primary breeding objectives down to the four C’s:

Conformation, Constitution, Consistency & Covering

Excellence in these four areas is the base on which commercial sheep producers can greatly improve their profits.

With the support of objective measurements, Callowie aims for a covering of soft handling, free growing wools with low CV and SD figures and microns in the productive 19.5 to 21 range, all on sound structured and hardy sheep.

Top priced rams purchased by Cove Station.

A big thankyou to all who attended our ram sale on the 28th August, and a special thankyou to all who purchased on the day as well as the underbidders.  We welcomed 'old' clients and some new ones to Callowie this year, and look forward to providing a larger selection of rams for 2018.
