Welcome

In line with the Callowie stud name, stud principal Richard Halliday has simplified the stud’s primary breeding objectives down to the four C’s:

Conformation, Constitution, Consistency & Covering

Excellence in these four areas is the base on which commercial sheep producers can greatly improve their profits.

With the support of objective measurements, Callowie aims for a covering of soft handling, free growing wools with low CV and SD figures and microns in the productive 19.5 to 21 range, all on sound structured and hardy sheep.
